1st Annual Seliski Beach Party

Tom's dad has a new beautiful house boat that we took out when we went to the cities. We went on the St. Croix river, it separates Minnesota and Wisconsin. We beached the boat at the St. Croix Yacht Club and set up camp. All of Tom's family attended, it was the "1st Annual Seliski Beach Party". We slept on the boat, grilled, had a camp fire and had a blast!!

Jace had to take a little nap on the boat before we could play.

Visiting

My dad was here again for his 30 year HS reunion. Jace and I picked him up from the airport and we took him to Crookston. We stayed with my grandparents that night. Jace got to do all the fun things that I looked forward to as a child (and I guess I still do) He got to go to the candy store and pick out a baggie full of candy and I got Chippers (they are chocolate covered potato chips~my favorite). We also went to Happy Joe's (it's a pizza place with lots of games to play and you trade in your tickets for prizes). Jace had so much fun with his Papa Norman and Grandma Amy!! We meet up with them for lunch the day my dad flew home. We also got to see my uncle and aunt Mike and Karen and cousin Kirsten. It was fun to see everyone and get together.

Jace was being silly and posing for pictures, Papa Norman followed right along.

Christopher's Cousin JR, Becky and their little boy Davis were here visiting from Colorado. We went out to Christopher's Uncle's farm to visit with everyone. His uncle Kirk took all the kids on a 4-wheeler ride and picked them each a ear of corn from the field. Jace was so excited!

We spent the night in Fargo because we were meeting my dad and everyone for lunch the next day. Jace was so excited because he got to go swimming.

A busy Month

Wow I am really slacking on this blogging stuff!! So much has happened in the last month I don't even know where to begin. My mom and I went to Minneapolis to watch my cousin Wade in a Bodybuilding compition. Wow I have never seen so much muscle in my life. He took 1st Place in his category~Way to go Wade!! On our way home Chris called and Jace was running a very high fever, we took him into the ER that night and they thought he was sick with Strep throat. That next day we made a Dr. appt. and she said the same thing. Things only got worse back to the Dr that next day. He was very dehydrated and very sick. This lasted about a week. I think it was the worst week of both of our lives! Tom's sister Renee and his nephews came to visit, Jace had a blast with "baby" Tommy. It was cute Jace called Tommy "Baby Tommy" (he is older than Jace) and Tommy called Jace "Baby Jace" I think they were pretty surprised when they saw each other neither one were babies. They had so much fun playing with each other and they didn't even fight one time. We all went to the zoo and we got to witness a baby monkey be born. It was amazing but the guys were pretty disgusted!

I love this picture

It was so amazing, after the mom monkey gave birth she came over to the fence and held out the baby monkey to show us. It was like she was telling us look at my precious baby.

It was the most human like thing I have ever seen. It only had hair on the back of it's head like a newborn baby.

Wade is the one in the middle~He took 1st Place

Pictures

My dad surprised us with a visit. He was in Fergus Falls for a meeting and stayed with us for the night. Jace was so excited to see his papa. He had bought a new camera that takes amazing pictures. He told me he didn't know how to use it yet, but I can't imagine what kind of pictures he will take when he knows how to use it. I wanted to share some of the photos with you. They are beautiful!!
