Pictures of our House

Ok here are all the pictures you have been waiting for!!!

Our new Home

I wish it would still look this green! The snow is all the way up the basement windows now.

The Kitchen
This was our big project....see the saufet above the cabinets? It had a huge overhang with can lights that we tore down, now it is open above. My dad is coming in March to re-do the cabinets! I am so excited we are going with a much lighter wood to really brighten it up.

The Dining Room

Our Living Room

This was the upstairs bathroom. This is my favorite transformation!! We peeled all the psychedelic blue plaid wallpaper off, textured, primed and painted it.

Jace's Bedroom

He picked out his own paint color, he wanted a dark brown room

Our Bedroom

This is the downstairs sitting area.

We got rid of the cow boarder and changed it to a wildlife/hunting one.

This is the little kitchen downstairs. The lady that lived here before did alot of canning and entertaining so the mess would not be upstairs. I think we will leave it for now. This is also a possible 4th bedroom if needed.

This is the laundry room/play room.

We have not done anything to this area. Right now we are using it as a toy room, Jace loves to play down here because his cars really move on this floor. Someday we will make this area into another bedroom.

This was the bathroom downstairs We did a little demo work and the finished results............

Still in progress!

We got a jetted bathtub for Christmas and hopefully we can get it installed soon!!!!

Tom's whole family came up on the 26th to celebrate Christmas. We had a little outdoor fun too! This big hill is from the snowstorm we had a few weeks ago and it was perfect for Jace and Tommy to play on! The big boys even had fun building a snow fort.

Jace was so exhausted from going up and down the hill

Bumpa (Ron) starting to shovel a tunnel.

I had to help them go up and down on the sled

Even Nana (Bernie) had to try the sled, she had fun even though she did go head first in the snow!

After sledding and playing outside the boys came in and had cupcakes to celebrate Jace's Birthday.

The boys snuggling up with Auntie Nae

The next morning the boys went back out to play in the snow and built a bunker.

Tom bought each one of his favorite girls a present...new Coach purses!! My mom got jipped and all she got was a coach wallet.
We had Christmas with my mom and Tom on the 23rd. Jace was spoiled rotten!! So excited to get Playdoh

My cousin has a little kitchen set that Jace loves to play with so his grandma and pop got him one of his own. He now cooks up a storm!

All his play food......he is going to be the next Chef Ramsey! (he has the same attitude too)

While we were at my mom and Tom's Santa made an early delivery to our house. Jace walked in and saw all the presents in the middle of the floor, he was so excited!

He didn't know what to think

All he wanted from Santa was Biscuit the dog and a garbage truck with garbage.

Jace and Biscuit

Santa had to work his elves overtime to make this garbage truck!!

Jace loves to sing so we thought it would be a good idea to buy this piano for him. It is so cool I think we all have had fun with it. There are about 20 different songs that it plays and you can change the style of the music to Rock, Hip-Hop, Techno, Jazz, Reggae, etc.... It also has a mic that changes your voice and you can rap on the turn table.

Santa

I took Jace to see Santa last Saturday, he came to Breckenridge on the train! Jace was so excited to see Santa this year and was not one bit scared! He made the front page of the Daily News Newspaper, the pictures was so cute of him and Santa. Jace was pretty proud to have his picture on the front page (so was mom and dad).

When we ask Jace what he wants for Christmas he tells us a garbage truck with a handle to dump the garbage and a dinosaur. I am not sure where he saw the garbage truck but they really make them and I think Santa knows what to bring Jace :)

Update

Well we are still not moved in yet......we figure it is best to get everything done before we move in. The walls just got textured last night and we have to wait 24 hours before we prime them, it looks great already! I am really hoping to be all moved in by Sunday night but we'll see, I am wearing Tom out by all the demands! :) Jace has his 3 year old pictures tomorrow so we'll see how that goes, he doesn't like the camera anymore. As soon as we get the proofs back from Jace's pictures I will scan them and post them on the blog. I can't wait to get pictures of the house too. As soon as they get posted that means the house is done and we will be moved in!
