Update

I know I am slacking in the blogging world! We have had a busy last few months. Well we survived the Flood of 2009 so far. There is so much water you can't even explain it without seeing it! I'm sure some of you that don't live near us have seen us on the news and even national news. It is real ugly here but if we do not get any more rain or snow we should be fine.

A few changes in our lives again. Chris got a job offer to work for a company in Wahpeton at Interstate Engineering. It was a tough decision because he loved his job with Moore Engineering in Fargo. He made a very good choice and took the job here in town, no more commuting, got a big pay raise and the benefits are better. He started last week and loves it!! They have been busy this last week surveying all the dikes in the twin towns to make sure they are at the appropriate level and called for sandbaggers if they weren't. He is getting some great experience with all of this flooding going on. I hope everyone is staying safe out there and your homes are being protected!

Party

We had a 75th Birthday party for my grandma on March 15th. We went to church in Tintah and after church we had coffee and rolls for everyone. The family stayed around and we had a lunch and birthday cake too!

Jace got this Breckenridge Cowboys sweatshirt from Sara and Jesse for his birthday and he is very proud to wear it. When I put it on him that morning he told me he wanted his picture taken in it.

You might be a redneck if..........
Only in Minnesota you can ride a "bike" as Jace calls it in the winter with lots of snow on the ground.

Hockey Game

My cousin Reid plays hockey for the Green Bay Gamblers and the first part of February they played the Fargo Force in Fargo. We met my family there, went to the game and spent the night in Fargo. We had such a great time with everyone. Jace loved the hockey game and sat still through most of it. He didn't know what to think when a fight broke out on the rink. He kept asking us why are they fighting?
